To starve the body and awaken the soul,
Electric sensations tap into the fragility of mortality.
The burden on my chest is heavy, my stomach endlessly empty,
Emotions drown and escape through the plughole,
Bathed in shadows dancing with the sunlight,
Everything holds in silence, so I stamp my feet loudly on the ground.
The wisdom of age clashes with the ferocity of youth,
Cocooned, ready and waiting for the wings.
Apathetic above and beyond the distance,
Hastily jumping to speed the rate of evolution,
Thoughts race and hold no direction,
The wanderer exiled from the skin that wraps his bones.
